There are a ton of reasons why dogs begin showing aggression towards other dogs, and the best way to fix that sort of behavior is fixing it RIGHT AWAY. You want to remain cool, calm and collect, at all times and evaluate why it is, exactly, that your dog is doing this. I wrote more on this in the blog post linked in the source, below. The only advice I can give that seemed to work for me, is simply let him get on with it. When my dog was aggressive to the new dog I had brought into the house, I let him growl and within two minutes he was bored and went off to do something else. If you boxer's really aggressive, keep him on a lead and try to stay away from other dogs when walking him.(cross the road if one comes the other way etc.) If you keep him socialized, he shouldn't be too aggressive. Proof of this is when I went on holiday my dog was put in a kennel with another dog (which he didn't seem to like too much) and when I came back he wasn't aggressive to another dog again.
