I need help finding a website on dogs(puppies) for sale.?

Well my parents are letting me get a dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY! well i need to find a website on dogs. I need dogs for sale! We are looking for cute, small, lovable puppies!! i need help! :) Please.

www.craigslist.com
www.petfinder.com
or Google it.
www.craigslist.com is GREAT though! I go on there EVERY SINGLE DAY! You can click on the pets tab after you get into your area and browse all the pets that were listed in or around the area where you live, or you could search for basically anything. When you get into the site, select a state, then area close to where you live, then up near the top of the page that opens up, look for the word PET. Click on that and it will open all the Pets what were listed. Not alowed to sell animals there so everyone just asks for a small rehoming fee. Go Check it out! It’s GREAT! Sure you will find one there!

Go to akc.org, look for breeders of the type dog you want to buy. Dont just look for any dog on any website or you may wind up with one that has something wrong with it. Also, you might go to your local dog shelter, humane society, and find a great dog. Sometimes puppies are there too. They get their shots and everything before people adopt them.

Have a great time with your new buddy!

What you need is to not buy a puppy. Web sites are not how a real breeder connects with good families anyhow.

petfinder.com will be the perfect place to find any breed, size and age of dog or puppy you are looking for.

First of all, whatever you do DON’T buy from a pet store, newspaper ad, or website – these puppies come from puppy mills or backyard breeders and are not in the best of health physically or mentally.

Your first step is to look at breeds; there’s a lot of differences between them, and you need one who has a temperament, energy level, exercise need, and grooming need that fit into your lifestyle.
Go here to look at breeds:
    http://www.akc.org/index.cfm

The next step is to find a puppy. I would first look at rescues; this is a great site:

To find a specific breed, try googling the breed rescue in your area. If you’d rather buy from a breeder, look up the (Breed Name) Club of America" and go to the breeder referral page.

    Good luck finding a puppy!

I am ashamed of you. Just like every other girl you want a puppy. That puppy will become a dog, and then what? You wont care about it? The dog will grow up with you but when you get so old you would rather hang out with your friends! You shouldn’t get a dog until later on. If you do get a dog go to the pound!!! The pound has plenty of dogs, including puppies and those puppies are just as good as one that comes from a breeder. If you don’t rescue a puppy from the pound, that puppy will be put down. It will die only because you wanted a dog from a breeder! So if I can’t convince you not to get one at all, please get one from the pound! PLEASE!

Well you can put in the breed and sites will show up. Or nextdaypets.com is good. Remember long haired dogs have to be groomed every 4-8 weeks and that could be $$$ please keep thAt in mind. Also try shelters or adoption websites. Also if your going to buy pleaseeeee only go through a leget breeder! Not a puppy store! There is alottttt of horror stories out there!

Please don’t buy a dog from a website… if you are stuck on getting a purebred, find a responsible breeder in your area and get a puppy there…

You have no idea if a website puppy is coming through a puppy mill, same with pet store pups… a lot of them will have come through horrific puppy mill conditions, and by buying a dog like that you would be supporting that.
