My 5 year old Rat Terrior, Jake, has been stealing kleenexes and i just want to make sure they arent bad for his health in any way.
I hope not because my little dog will eat any Kleenex left around for two seconds!!
lol

They shouldn’t hurt him, but try to keep him from doing it. If he is getting them out of the trash, use a lid. Mine steal q-tips all the time. In fact, one of my dogs somehow got out of his crate, and ate: a whole box of kleenex, a bag or doritos, a whole tub of liver treats, a box of triscut crackers, tin foil, styrafoam, a dream catcher complete with feathers and beads, and countless other things. He was absolutely fine, he pooped alot for 2 days.
You would be surprised what they can eat, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to stop him.

It is possible for a Rat Terrier (Terror!) to get a bowel obstruction or a torsion……….so yes, keep the tissues away from him. If he doesn’t appear to be in any pain, or his belly doesn’t get hard & bloated, I would just watch him and perhaps inspect his poop for the next day or two.
