Not as long as they dont drink the water
References :
once in a while no but it cant be too healthy all the time ,the river or sea is better

My dog drinks it so I sure hope not.

No. Is it bad for your health to swim in a swimming pool? The chlorine only sanitizes.

well its not going to kill your dogs unless they drink a lot of the water. its not good for thier skin or fur either. It will dry their fur out really bad. if i were you, i would only let them swim in it once in a great while, and when they are done, use a deep cleansing shampoo, and a deep conditioner for their fur and skin.

Not really, just don’t let him drink it.

No, just hose them off afterwards, just as you’d shower after swimming in a chorinated pool. In fact, it is safer than swimming in a lake or other "natural" site, because you KNOW the pool is NOT polluted. Just don’t let them drink the water. If they do, it won’t kill them, but drinking chlorine isn’t good.

No. If they drink to much of the clorinated water they may vomit, so watch out for this.

You let your kids swim in it but you question if it is OK for your dog. Give me a break.
You should question is it OK for your pool to let your dog swim in it. The hair can cause probs with your filter.

hi there
i kept my very old dog alive through our very summer in Australia by putting him in the swimming as it kept him cool and slowed his old heart beat down and he loved being in there with the kids.
