I have three maltese cross dogs with long hair and I want to buy clippers to clip their hair myself they usually go to the groomer but times are tough….what are the best sort to buy are there specific pet ones or will the ones I can get for human heads be ok
Many people use human clippers on their dogs. They work just fine. Make sure that you don’t clip them too short. Go with the grain of the hair. Trim a clean mat free coat. Keep the blade cool so as not to burn the skin. Many people groom their own dogs and do a very good job at it. Make sure that you trim the nails, clean the ears, and do the anal glands for a complete job.
