I understand that you can get ring worm from a new animal, but can a child who was raised around the same dogs everyday get sick from them?
I was thinking a child could get a rash from a dog if it was in a different enviroment and a different dog!! could this be true also?
It’s possible. I used to be around cats and dogd all of the time, but when I was 7 I got a really bad reaction to dogs and cats. My throat closes off now if I get near ones that are not poodle’s or bichon frise’s. It started with a rash, a few years later nose and itching, then full blown. Be very careful. I can’t even walk into someone’s house with a cat or dog now or I’ll pass out and my lungs will close off.
