My dog is really sick throwing up alot and vomiting (took her to the vet this morning in hopes that she’ll be fine). Any ideas on how i can treat the yard and all to keep from spreading the germs to my other dogs?
Not sure what’s wrong quite yet. Just wanna be safe and try and take care of the germs if any to make sure the other dogs are okay.
Use a poop scooper to clean up her stool and vomit. Spray the areas with Lysol disinfectant. don’t let them eat together or drink water out of the same dish. If you get it up it’s not likely they’ll catchany germs due to their lifespoan outside the body. However, Parvo is different. Parvo can hang around for up to a year.

What does she have?

No I dont have any idea, call the vet and ask is a good idea here because of the history of the illness.

God bless you for taking care of your animals so good.
Well, it kind of depends on what the vet said. How do you know there are germs involved? Most dog vomiting is from an upset tummy from something they ate.

hopefully your vet has done a Parvo test from her stool and you know that it is not parvo…because if it is, then that changes everything. If she is just ill, and not with something contagious then simply clean up the areas where she has thrown up and pooped using your pooper scooper, then spray down with a hose. Good luck. If you had your dog at the vet this morning then he should have given you some answers as to what your dog may or may not have and how to treat.

Bleach will kill about everything.

i wouldnt worry about it yet. just make sure the obvious stuff is cleaned like her poop and any vomit on the grass. then wait and see what the vet says to know what to do next.
